Class Officers

Each class has four class officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) who plan events for the class. Dances, class trips, community service projects, car washes and other fund-raisers are planned. Elections take place in the fall for First Year Students and in the spring for upperclassmen. Weekly meetings are held in the Campus Center.

College Democrats of America

The College Democrats of America were created for the purpose of advancing democratic ideals in the Assumption College Community and the community at large. The goal is to take an active political role in issues dealing with college students. Interested students should contact the chair of the Political Science department. College Republicans of America

The College Republicans of America were created for the purpose of advancing republican ideals in the Assumption College Community and the community at large. The goal is to take an active political role in issues dealing with college students. Interested students should contact the chair of the Political Science department.

Student Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Association consists of five executive positions and ten senator positions from each of the four classes. Weekly meetings are held in the Hagan Center Hall every Sunday at 8:20 pm where proposals are debated and voted on. All are welcome to attend. Elections take place in the fall for First Year Students and in the Spring for upperclassmen. At Assumption, students have a voice. If you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas please do not hesitate to stop by the SGA office located in the Hagan Campus Center or call x 7396.

Students Advocating Change (SAC)

This club will raise awareness on campus about legislative policies and its effects on all citizens. Educate AC community about social concerns, and volunteer in the greater Worcester area.
