Sigi 3 is a simple-to-use and comprehensive computer database
to assist you with career decision making.
Once you respond to a series of questions,
the program searches its
built-in library and finds those careers that most closely
match your
preferences.
For each of the careers listed in Sigi
3, you can find out:
- Required skills
- Educational requirements
- Possibilities for advancement in the
field
- Potential income
- The national employment outlook in the
field
This computer program can save you literally
days of leafing through catalogs and career books, and because
its built-in library is so large, it may well find career
options you never knew existed.
Students are encouraged to come to the Student
Development and Counseling Center or may access SIGI 3 online
by emailing Kathleen Gannon at kgannon@assumption.edu for
a password.
