The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is Assumption College’s mechanism for reviewing projects involving human subjects.

Procedure for Submitting Proposals for IRB Review
Send one paper copy and one electronic copy (if available) to Dr. Georgi Georgiev. If exempt from review, he will notify the project supervisor. If not exempt, he will indicate whether full or expedited review is necessary. He will forward the electronic copy to board members or, if none available, will ask the project supervisor to provide as many paper copies as are needed for the type of review that will be performed.
