ACCOUNTING
MAJOR IN ACCOUNTING:
The accounting program is designed to enable the
student to establish a basic professional competence
that will encourage intelligent and effective
employment in both profit and nonprofit institutions.
The business curriculum is structured to provide the
accounting major with the basic educational
background to sit for the Certified Public Accountant
(CPA) and Certified Management Accountant
examinations. The major in accounting may also serve
as a basis for attending law school or graduate school.
