
Assumption College will host the tenth President's Council Distinguished Lecture and the second annual George A. Doyle Lecture in Business and Economics on Tuesday, April 20, 1999. The combined event will be held in the Hagan Campus Center at 7:00 p.m.
John F. Connallon, managing director, Salomon Smith Barney, will speak on the "Outlook for the Financial Markets."
Frequently quoted on Dow Jones and Reuters News, Connallon has been a contributor to the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, USA Today, and WCBS National Radio. As managing director-equity market strategist, he shares responsibility for Salomon Smith Barney's asset allocation, equity market strategy, and individual stock selection. A graduate of St. Peter's College, Connallon earned his M.B.A. From Fairleigh Dickinson University.
The lecture is free and open to the public; a champagne and dessert reception will follow. Reservations are required.
