Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Schizophrenia Workshop at Assumption

Worcester, MA—Daniel Beck will present a workshop on the basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy theory and its applications to the treatment of schizophrenia on Friday, February 15, 2002 at 12:30 p.m., in the Salon of La Maison at Assumption College.

Mr. Beck received his MSS degree from Smith College in 1995. He is currently a Fellow at Harvard Medical School and is involved in several research studies that examine Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for schizophrenia at Massachusetts General Hospital, North Suffolk Mental Health and Boston University.

This event is sponsored by Assumption College’s Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies. Founded in 1996, the Beck Institute annually hosts speakers and conferences that address research and therapeutic developments in cognitive therapy, as well as moral issues faced by therapists and clients.
