Walking Lecture Tour of Union Station Sponsored by Assumption College

Worcester, MA-Assumption College's University Transportation Center (UTC), with its theme of "Transportation and Environmental Education for the Twenty-First Century," is sponsoring "The Restoration of a Classic"Ña walking lecture tour of WorcesterÕs Union StationÑby Charles Sacre on Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Charles Sacre, associate partner of SEA Consultants, Inc., and chief structural engineer of Union Station, will explain, as part of a walking tour, how this historic building has been restored. Assumption College's UTC is the only one in the country that seeks, through programs of education, research, and technology, to develop a K-12 education and science curricula incorporating transportation and environmental issues. This event is the seventh in a series of lectures sponsored by the UTC. The walking lecture tour is free and open to the public.
