Assumption College to Sponsor Debates for both State Senate and Representative races in Worcester

Worcester, MA-Assumption College will sponsor two debates, one each for the Senate race in the 1st Worcester District and the Representative race for the 13th Worcester District.

On October 10, 2000 at 7:00 p.m., Harriett L.Chandler (democrat) and Christopher P. Loconto (republican) will square off in the Auditorium of La Maison. They are running for the seat being vacated by Senator Robert Bernstein in the 10th Worcester District. This debate is being sponsored by the student representatives in the Assumption College Student Government Association.

On October 22, 2000 at 6:00 p.m., James Lukes (republican) and Robert Spellane (democrat) will debate in the Salon of La Maison. They are running for the open seat in the 13th Worcester District.
