Assumption College
Students to Harvest 100,000 Pounds of Produce
August, 2003—
Assumption College students who are back from summer vacation aren’t
quite done with their summer jobs. In fact, some of the students in the leadership-training
program will be working harder today than they had all summer. That’s
because student leaders from our Reach-Out Center and Campus Ministry will be
working on a farm in Grafton today, harvesting 100,000 pounds of produce for
the Worcester Food Bank.
This volunteer project as part of the week-long leadership training program
for students leaders at Assumption College. They will be working today, August
28, 2003, at Community Harvest, a farm on 37 Wheeler Road, Grafton, MA at 1:30
p.m.
