Assumption College Throws a Baby Shower
Supplies to Benefit Pernet Family Health Services

Worcester, MA—The Reach-Out Center at Assumption College, along with three Resident Assistants who work at the school, has completed a charity project
collecting money and baby supplies to be given to Pernet Family Health Services, located at 237 Milbury Street in Worcester. The employees of
Assumption College are surprising the workers and residents of Pernet on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. to give them the supplies they
collected.

The charity drive at Assumption took place during the past week. The Reach-Out Center was able to collect more than $300 in cash along with
diapers and baby formula. The money they raised will be used to buy more ofthese necessities that will be brought, unannounced, to the Pernet house on
Thursday to stock their pantry. This is not the first contact the Assumption community has had with the Pernet house. On a weekly basis, Assumption students volunteer there at an after school program.
