| Assumption
College Recognized By National Publications; Moves Up in Ranking
August,
2004—U.S.
News and World Report has once again released its "America's
Best Colleges" list and for the third year in a row, Assumption
College has moved up in the ranks. Assumption College is included
in the Best Universities—Master's category, competing against
other institutions in the North region. By definition, these institutions
provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs, but
they offer few, if any, doctoral programs. In the 2005 edition,
Assumption has been ranked 31st, moving up slightly from last year's
position of 33rd.
Assumption College was also notified this week that The Princeton
Review has once again cited the College in its 2005 edition of Best
Northeastern Colleges. Inclusion in this edition is based on
statistical and student opinion-based narrative information.
