Students Inducted Into Psychology
Honor Society
November,
2004—Eleven students were recently inducted into
the Psi Chi National Honor Society for demonstrated excellence in
the field of Psychology.
Psi Chi is a national honor society that provides recognition for
students with high levels of academic achievement and an interest
in psychology. Students’ averages must be above 3.0, both
overall and within psychology courses. Additionally, students must
have taken at least three courses in psychology and have completed
at least three semesters’ worth of college credit. Finally,
students must have shown a direct interest in psychology, as demonstrated
through participation in the Psychology Club. Members of Psi Chi
have access to a range of opportunities, ranging from national conferences
to research grants to a subscription to the journal Eye on Psi
Chi.
