Dr. Stanley HauerwasNovember, 2004—Assumption College presents the final Centennial 2004 Lecture with Dr. Stanley Hauerwas, a leading theological ethicist and Christian pacifist, on November 29, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hagan Campus Center Hall. This lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Hauerwas is the Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics in the Divinity School of Duke University. Through his work, Hauerwas has sought to recover the significance of the virtues for understanding the nature of the Christian life, as well as narrative for understanding Christian existence.
