How Career Services can help you...
The Office of Career Services assists students in their search for employment, internships, and fellowships, and provides guidance on career assessment and exploration, search strategies, effective resume and cover letter development, and the interviewing process.
Counseling
Personal and group counseling to help with mapping out career plans, resume and cover letter writing, networking strategies, and interviewing skills are also provided.
Programs, Events, and Resources
Throughout the year, the Office of Career Services sponsors or provides information about workshops, presentations, career fairs, information sessions and other career-related programs and professional development opportunities taking place both on- and off-campus. Please check our Announcements page for regularly updated information.
The Office of Career Services also houses a career resource center, where you will find books and articles covering various career and job search-related topics.
Job/Internship Database
Students can access job, internship, and fellowship postings through the College Central Network, Assumption's career management database. Students can upload and manage their search-related documentation-- resume, cover letter, and portfolio materials--electronically, and apply online for posted positions.
