10/19/07 STUDENT NOTES FOR
SPRING 2008 REGISTRATION
·
Keep the PINK copy of the registration form.
·
Leave the YELLOW copy with your advisor.
·
Bring the WHITE copy to the Registrar’s office in
Alumni Hall
You will receive in
your campus mailbox a three-part registration form and these instructions with
a registration schedule. The course offering will be available online at the
registrar’s office web page - http://www.assumption.edu/acad/registrar.
Advisors will have a hard-copy course offering.
THINGS TO DO:

Schedule an appointment with your advisor to select
your spring courses.
·
Fill out the registration form being sure to indicate
on the top right of the form whether you
are entering all courses or whether the Registrar’s office is doing some
or all of the registration. DO NOT LEAVE THIS SECTION BLANK.

Get instructor signatures
if the course offering indicates ‘
·
Make sure your advisor signs the form and activates
you for Campus Web.
·
If some of
your courses are PAPER REGISTRATION REQUIRED you must turn in the white copy by
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5th at 1:00 P.M. in the registrar’s office
in Alumni Hall. Preferenced courses on LATE
registration forms will not receive priority.

When it is your class registration time go to the
Campus Web link on the Registrar’s Office home page at http://www.assumption.edu/acad/registrar STUDENT LINK TO CAMPUS WEB and follow the
directions to register online.
·
Check your schedule online during the adjustment
period for your class and during all college adjustment days, 11/19th
and 11/20th.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
·
Schedules will NOT be mailed. View and print your schedule at Campus Web.
·
Unless you have the required preference we will not
enroll you in courses marked ‘paper registration required’.
·
Don’t register for more than FIVE 3 or 4-credit
courses online (labs are not counted as courses). If you do, the registrar’s
office will select a course to delete from your schedule. We will NOT consult
you beforehand.
·
Don’t register for a course if you don’t have the
necessary prerequisites. It will be deleted from your schedule.
·
Your advisor will be able to check your spring
schedule after you have registered. If there are serious discrepancies between
the courses your advisor approved and those for which you registered, both you
and the registrar’s office will be contacted.
·
After each class registration period has ended, all
students in the class will be returned to “needs advisor approval” status. You
will need to contact your advisor to be approved to participate in schedule
adjustments. These adjustments can be done online on the dates indicated
on the registration schedule or in the Registrar’s office on those
dates.
