Types of Play:   Singles, doubles, or three players

Winning the Game:     The first player to reach 15 points wins. You may win by 1 point.

Winning Points:     The player who is serving scores a point by winning a volley. If the player who is not serving wins a volley, he wins the right to serve but does not score a point.

The Serve:    A player must serve while standing between the black line (called the short line) and the front line (called the service line). To start the serve the player must bounce the ball on the floor and hit it against the front wall. If the first serve is a fault serve, the player may attempt a second serve. If the second serve is illegal, the server loses the serve. A legal serve must bounce off the front wall, touch no more than one side wall, and land on the floor between the short line and the back wall.

Fault Serves:       Short serve: when the ball lands in front of the “short line”

Long serve :            When the ball hits the back wall before touching the floor

Three:      when the ball hits the front wall and two side walls before toughing the floor.

Ceiling serve:   when the ball hits the front wall and the ceiling Screen serve:   when the ball passes so closely to the server that the receiver can’t see the ball until it passes the server.

Out serves:    When the ball does not hit the front wall first. When the server is hit by the served ball.

The Return:      The receiver must hit the ball on the fly or after the first bounce on the floor and return the ball to the front wall, using any combination of walls or ceilings

Hinders:       A player interfering with the opportunity of another player to see or hit the ball causes a hinder, and the point must be replayed. A player struck by the ball also causes a hinder

Safety Zone:      A player or his racquet may not enter the safety zone until the ball has crossed the safety line.
