Why should I go on a SEND service trip? Question: What are the Spring Break destinations for 2010? Answer:
This year's spring break trips destinations are: During the winter break, a group will be traveling to Camden, NJ. Past projects have included work with Habitat for Humanity, volunteering in an orphanage, providing a Spring Camp for kids in the South Bronx, serving in a substance abuse recovery community, and helping the Religious of the Assumption sisters continue to develop their new community in New Mexico. Question: How much does it cost to go on a SEND. trip? Answer: The Spring Break trips cost $150 per person (except for the Gulf Coast trips, which cost $400). The Mexico Mission costs $600. Question: Where do we go in Mexico? Answer: In 2008, the group divided up after traveling to Mexico together and served in three different locations - Mexico City, San Ildefonso (a rural area a few hours north of Mexico city), and Magdalena (a coastal, poverty-stricken area).
