We're located on the second floor of the D'Alzon Library. Our extension is 7071 (508-767-7071 from off campus) -- call ahead to guarantee a tutorial session!
Career Services
The Office of Career Services, located in La Maison Francaise, Suite 205, offers a number of programs and resources to assist students enrolled in a degree program with career planning and exploration, and with developing effective job search campaigns. In addition to career workshops covering topics such as self-assessment and career exploration, job search strategies, resume/cover letter development, networking, and interview/salary negotiation skills, one-on-one and group counseling sessions are offered for more individualized guidance in these areas. Students may also take advantage of our Career Services resource center, which houses a number of books and articles on career and job search topics, fee-based career assessment testing, networking or professional development event announcements, and other career-related programs sponsored by Assumption College and the Colleges of the Worcester Consortium. Job postings can currently be accessed on the Student Development and Counseling Center web site.
In addition, as an alumnus/a of one of Assumption’s Continuing and Career Education degree programs, you are welcome to use the Office of Career Services over the lifetime of your career.
