My first impression of the American Antiquarian Society seminar was great! We got to meet Professor Klinghard and the rest of the students in our class. There were not only students from Assumption in the seminar, but there were students from schools like WPI, Clark, and Holy Cross as well. After getting to know everyone, we reviewed some of the readings we had prepared for class. The conversation went well, but soon it was time to get the tour of the AAS, which was my favorite part of the day. We got to see how the paper artifacts are preserved, a printing press from the American Revolution, and we learned about how they have over 4 million artifacts! I am not going to lie, I was getting pumped to read some of the old and valuable documents. It was a good day and I am excited to see how next class goes.
