Blog Entry:
The Worcester Sharks is a hard-working team which strives toward one common goal of being the best hockey team in the sports entertainment industry. Each individual at the Worcester Sharks works hard to provide the best customer service and to provide our customers with a unique and special experience at every Sharks’ game.

As an Operations Intern at theWorcester Sharks, I am studying our corporate partners and comparing our corporate partners’ web pages to other AHL teams. I have discovered that we have an excellent website display of our corporate partners because we provide a complete list and contact information. We also list opportunities for our corporate partners that tells them the benefits of each package they purchase, from bronze, silver, and gold. We also offer an a la carte selection for each level; for example, at the gold level partners get two selections from the cart such as group tickets for 20 and a radio interview during a Sharks’ broadcast. We really offer some great packages for our partners.

I am adding value to the Worcester Sharks through this project. The opportunity to work in a professional sports environment is providing me with responsibility in the workplace, which makes me feel – even as an intern – that I make a difference in this company. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity.
