As a student, someone reached out to me—helped me navigate my college career by making sure that I made good decisions about my coursework and how I was spending my time. To me, that kindness, that sense of community is what Assumption is all about. As a class agent, I enjoy reaching out to my classmates, reconnecting with many and sharing what is going on at our alma mater. Continuing that sense of community enables me to give back to something that I hold dear.

I’m a class agent because it enables me to stay involved with Assumption. I had such a great experience as an undergraduate, being involved in Campus Ministry, as an Orientation Leader, that it was just natural for me to want to stay connected in this capacity. It also enables me to stay in touch with more of my classmates—finding out where they are personally and professionally and then sharing this information with the College.

Assistant Director, Admissions

As a student, I was able to learn and develop leadership skills, working closely with members of the Assumption community who served as advisors, department heads, and deans. As a graduate, I’m proud to call many of these people my close friends and credit them with inspiring me to pursue my chosen career of higher education administration, specifically within University Admissions and Enrollment Management. As a class agent, I am committed to making sure that Assumption is able to provide future generations of Greyhounds with opportunities to learn, be inspired, and look back proudly at their alma mater, and all that it provided them.
