Co-curricular Opportunities:
Student speaking with ProfessorTo complement the academic experience offered in the Honors Program, Assumption College sponsors such co-curricular activities as trips to historic sites and cultural events, concerts, lectures, attendance at academic conferences, and study abroad.
Honors Program Coffee House Gatherings:
The Honors Program Director will host periodic gatherings of the members of the Honors Program. Honors Program members will gather for informal conversation, films, and distinguished campus guests. Students will report on the activities of their Service Projects during some of these gatherings. The summer fellows will also share the results of their summer work.
Dinner and Discussions:
Once a year members of the academic community (e.g, the Board of Trustees, the President, Vice President of Academic Affairs, etc.) will host a dinner and discussion for the Honors Students.

Program Resources
Honors Fellowships:
Honors Students are encouraged to apply for fellowship grants provided by the Honors Program. These funds may be used for summer and independent research and to attend scholarly conferences.
Honors Suite:
A community of learning will contain an Honors Suite, available for study, consultation, and conversation by all Honors Students. This space contains a reading room and lounge, computer facilities, and advisory offices.
Honors Advising:
Incoming freshmen in the Honors Program will meet with a member of the Honors Faculty at summer orientation. In addition to being advised on the Honors Program, students will be given the initial reading assignment for Life Stories. Students will be assigned an Honors Advisor to track their progress towards the Honors degree and discuss special opportunities for Honors students. Students will be free to choose a new advisor in their major as needed
