  • The Worcester City Council passed the following resolution on January 4, 2000 "That the Worcester City Council commemorates the year 2000 as the 150th anniversary year of the First National Woman’s Rights Convention. That the City of Worcester is an integral partner in planning, implementing and celebrating the work of the Worcester Women’s History Project. That the City Manager is authorized to carry out necessary functions to assist the Worcester Women’s History Project with celebratory, educational and commemorative events.
